The 1st School Health Lecturer Training Session Begins!
On March 19 and 20, 2026, we held the 1st training session of Phase 2 of the SHCC Project.
On Day 1, STEP began by presenting its activity plan for the year 2026. Following this, School Health lecturers from the teacher training colleges in Phnom Penh and Battambang, along with teachers in charge of School Health from TEC attached primary schools participated in group work divided into four groups.
The topics were twofold: a vision for how school health education at the TEC and attached primary schools should look in three years, and what kind of collaboration between the two institutions would be necessary to achieve that.
Participants first reflected individually, then shared ideas within their groups, and finally synthesized their group’s opinions for a presentation.
At the start of this new phase, it was a valuable opportunity for all project participants to share a common vision and reaffirm their commitment to collaborating toward the goals set for three years from now.
It all begins here.
Thanks to the generous support of The Nippon Foundation, Phase 2 of the SHCC is scheduled to run for three years. We express our deepest gratitude and are committed to steering this initiative to ensure it becomes a fruitful three-year journey.
