【Announcement】Cambodia Study Tour Report Session to Be Held

From March 4 to March 13, 2025, we conducted a study tour to Cambodia.

Nine students from Tokyo Gakugei University’s Category D Special Needs Education program (5 first-year, 2 second-year, 2 third-year students) participated. Activities included exchanges with students from Cambodian teacher training universities (Battambang University of Education, Phnom Penh University of Education), teaching sessions at the affiliated elementary school, and visits to historical and cultural sites.

For the lessons at the affiliated elementary school, students from both countries divided into two groups to prepare lessons. They then conducted classes at the school: one physical education lesson based on radio calisthenics and one nutrition lesson utilizing Cambodia’s food pyramid. This study tour provided valuable learning opportunities and insights for students from both countries.

We will hold a report session for this study tour by the nine Japanese students at the time and date below.

Each student will present what they felt and learned through their interactions and classes with students from the Cambodian teacher training university, as well as through experiencing Cambodian history and culture, sharing their insights gained on-site.
