Signing Ceremony for Inter-University Academic Exchange Agreement (Tokyo Gakugei University, Phnom Penh Institute of Education, Battambang Institute of Education)

On March 23, 2023, Tokyo Gakugei University, Japan’s flagship teacher training university, and two Cambodian teacher training universities (Phnom Penh University of Education and Battambang University of Education) signed an inter-university academic agreement.

Having collaborated since 2020 on the “School Health Development Project for All Cambodian Children,” the universities from both countries plan to deepen exchanges across a broader range of fields going forward. Coincidentally, this milestone day arrived in the commemorative year of the 70th anniversary of Japan-Cambodia friendship, marking the beginning of building a new relationship through teacher training.
